​Meeting Minutes, Tuesday, April 7, 2026
​
6 Officers, 4 Members were in attendance.
 Motion to approve last month’s minutes - Moved to approve by Dan, second by Brett. Approved.  ​

GK Report: Larry and Brett attended a 4th degree ceremony in Chippewa Falls, and also a presentation of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Deputy Grand Knight Report: Discussed the Family of the Month program.
District Deputy Report: Shared the newsletter from Echo Health, and the article on the Silver Rose by the Spooner Advocate.  
Treasurer’s Report:    Checking. $
                                Scholarship. $
                                Seminarian. $
                                 Charity. $
                                 Dues. $
                                 Trailer. $
                                 Square/Tootsie Roll. $
                                 CD. $
Bills and Receipts:  Dan moved that we pay our bills, Second by Tom. Approved.

Membership Director: No new members, but one transferring  member interested.  
Food Pantry Report:  All is good. They are again thankful for our assistance.
Family of the Month: Nominated is the family of Ben and Hannah Petit.
Unfinished Business:
  1. The district free throw contest at Webster went well.
  2. The Silver Rose event had low KC member turnout, but many other parishioners were there.
  3. The March 27th fish fry had 181 served. Net profit of about $854.
New Business:
  1. Frank moved that our council help at a pancake breakfast after the first homily of Transitional Deacon Scott on May 25th, Second by Dan. Approved.
  2. Roadside cleanup is tentatively planned for the last week of April. Weather dependent.
  3. The fee for Town and Country Days is $250. We will still participate.
  4. The fee for Cranberry Fest is $420. We will still participate.
  5. Dan is chairing the Tootsie Roll Drive the weekend of May 1 and 2. Plan to help.
  6. Fr. Papi’s ordination anniversary was April 3. (31 yrs). There is a card to sign.
  7. Fr.Papi’s birthday is May 4th. Jeff moved that we give $50 for that. Second by Dan. Passed.
  8. Mary Porkorny gave our FS $100 to help with gas for parishioners needing rides to mass. Bill will follow up on how to manage this.
  9. Allen moved that we again donate $200 for 4 tickets to donate for the Celebration of Education event. Second by Paul, Approved.
  10. Larry is now a delegate for our council to the State Convention in May instead of DD. Discussed to increase the amount our council gives him was tabled until next month.
  11. Council officer elections are coming soon. Start planning on what position you want to be.
Upcoming event: The next meeting is May 5, 2026
Motion to adjourn by Dan, Second by Jeff. Approved.
