Meeting Minutes, Monday, June 9, 2025

8 Officers, 5 Members and one guest were in attendance.
Motion to approve last month’s minutes by Dan, Second by Don. Approved.

GK Report:
Reminder of changing priests at our parish. He will work at helping the new priest with what the KCs can do.

Treasurer’s Report:

Bills and Receipts:
Motion to pay the bills by Allen. Second by Paul, Approved.

Good of the Order:
Allen invited any interested members to attend the WI March for Life June 14th.

Food Pantry Coordinator:
Last year’s total from SFDS was 1,420 lb. of food donated.

Unfinished Business:

1. Recap of the State Convention by GK Larry.
2. There is a prohibition of Roadside Cleanup on high speed divided highways so we will be assigned Hwy 70 east of the Hwy 53 ramp to Spooner Lake Road.

New Business:

1. $125 approved for space rental at Town and Country Days. Allen will chair again.
2. Jeff moved that Ben Petit become our Advocate, second by Frank. Approved. Jeff moved to accept the current slate of officers with the change of advocate. Second by Don. Approved.
3. The GK and Trustees approved $300 to a house fire at the Christners. A request to the state charity fund has been made.
4. Frank moved for a $200 donation to the MN Eye Foundation in memory of Sally. Second by Dan. Approved.
5. Bill moved that we donate $250 for Toto Tuus. Second by Tom. Approved.
6. Bill announced our council sold 599 State Raffle tickets.
7. Bill announced our council was $166 over our quota for the State Prolife fund.
