Meeting Minutes, Tuesday, May 5, 2026

7 Officers, 3 Members were in attendance. 
 Motion by Dan to approve last month’s minutes - Second by Brett. Approved.  

GK Report: Members are encouraged to lead the Rosary at a Mass during the month of May
Deputy Grand Knight Report: Thanks to all members that help with our programs. Information on the Welcome retreat.  Recommended St. Padre Pio prayer for healing.  
Treasurer’s Report:    Checking. $

Bills and Receipts:  Dan moved that we pay our bills, Second by Brett. Approved.

Membership Director: A Catholic man that is new to the community asked about joining. We will look at an exemplification in June.  
Food Pantry Report: They are grateful for our assistance. 
Family of the Month: 
Unfinished Business: 

1. The Celebration for Education in April was a success. 
2. Road side cleanup was completed April 27th. 6 members attended. 
3. Discussion on giving rides to Mass. No program because of liability and care, but encourage individual members to do this if they know of someone that needs a ride. 

New Business:

1. Jeff agreed to help with the Pancake Breakfast on May 25. It is for celebration after the new transitional deacon’s first homily. 
2. Tootsie Roll Drive has collected about $1,200 so far for people with intellectual disabilities. 
3. There is a card to sign for Fr. Papi’s birthday.
4. Larry is attending the State Meeting for our council. Jeff moved that we support him with $250. Second by Dan. Approved. 
5. For officer elections in June we need a Deputy Grand Knight and Chancellor. Other positions are filled unless someone wants to replace someone. 
6. There is a step repair project for Mrs. Stensvold. Paul, Brett and Deacon will see what help is needed. 
7. There is a March for Life event in Hayward on June 14th. More info next month. 

Upcoming event: The next meeting is June 2,   2026
