Meeting Minutes - Monday, March 11, 2024

Attendance: 6 officers, 9 members

Moved to pay bills by Dan. Second by John. Approved.

Membership Report:
We will have an exemplification next month.
For the Good of the Order: Al reminded us to read the Columbia magazine, and pray the
Rosary. He is also working on improving our digital communications.

Unfinished Business:
1. Fish Fry on Feb. 16 went well. Net profit of $634.83. More than 160 meals served.
2. Free throw contest on Feb. 20 had 36 kids participate. Ages 9-13.
3. Regional Free throw contest was March 2.

New Business:
1. Next Fish/Smelt Fry is Mar. 29. Clean smelt Mar. 25 starting about 5 pm.
2. KC state convention is coming up on April 26.
3. We will continue the Life Savers for Life program, and add in breakfasts as life fund raisers.
4. Roadside cleanup is planned the first or second week of April.
5. Coats for Kids Act II distributed many coats in the past month.
6. Jeff moved we donate $450 to a family with medical expenses. Second by Al. Ammended to
$1,000 by Allen, Second by Frank. Passed.
7. Bill moved we purchase a KC literature kiosk for church for $150, with the stipulation Fr. Phil
okays it. Second by Jeff. Passed.

Upcoming event: The next meeting is April 8, 2024.
