Meeting Minutes, Monday, September 8, 2025
7 Officers, 3 Members were in attendance.
Motion to approve last month’s minutes by Jeff, Second by John. Approved.

Bills and Receipts:
Brett moved that we pay our bills, Second by Paul. Approved.

Membership report:
Plan for a church drive and exemplification in Oct. Jeff will help with church drive Oct.4 and 5 if okay by Fr. Papi. GK will check with Fr. on this.

Food Pantry Report:
Frank is having hip surgery this week. John is filling in for a couple of weeks, then he will need some more substitutes.

Family of the Month.
Tom Buchman nominated by Allen, second by Brett. Approved.

Unfinished Business:
1. The trailer looks great, but now the fryers are not working well. Motion by Don to purchase a new fryer, second by Jeff. Approved. Also keep the old one for parts to fix a third fryer.
2. Basketball hoops will be installed soon. The old supports will be removed.
3. Town and Country Days netted about $3,000. That's about $30/volunteer hour. This was the first year there were more volunteers than time slots. Thanks to all.

New Business:
1. Inventory of KC supplies lost in St. Joseph fire completed.
2. Don move we purchase 150 brats, buns and condiments for OctoberFest at SFDS. Second by Brett. Approved.
3. KCs are grilling chicken for the Welcome Fr. Papi picnic. No funds needed.
4. Roadside cleanup is Highway K north from the Elementary School. Jeff is chairing this fall for John. Date of cleanup TBD.
5. Cranberry Fest in the plans. Jim D. is chair.
6. Faith Formation Pancake Breakfast is Oct. 19. Help is needed with this. More next month.
7. Fr. Papi would like to attend our business meetings, but can’t make Monday evenings. Agreement that we can change to the first Tue. of the month. It's still 7:00 pm. Also discussion on requiring all members to attend 4 meetings per year. Suggested we look into having more social meetings, since too many members at a business meeting will be confusing.
8. Allen moved to donate $200 for a scholarship to the Dominican Sisters for 1 year of high school tuition. Second by Pat. Approved.
9. Jeff moved to purchase crucifixes for the confirmation students, not to exceed $250. Second by John. Approved.
